We are in search of a proactive and seasoned National Event Staffing Director to manage our nationwide staffing initiatives. This position is crucial in addressing the varied and intricate staffing requirements of our clients with effectiveness and accuracy. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strategic thinking, remarkable leadership capabilities, and a comprehensive understanding of the experiential marketing landscape.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Oversight: Formulate and implement national staffing strategies that align with corporate objectives and client expectations. Recognize avenues for growth and enhancement in staffing methodologies.
- Recruitment and Onboarding: Spearhead the recruitment process for regional staffing coordinators and recruiters. Craft job descriptions, conduct interviews, and ensure a smooth onboarding experience for new hires.
- Team Development: Provide continuous feedback, coaching, and development opportunities for team members. Establish clear performance expectations and objectives that align with organizational goals.
- Resource Management: Evaluate project requirements and modify team size and structure as necessary. Guarantee optimal resource distribution to fulfill client demands and project schedules.
- Business Growth: Propel sales expansion by identifying new business prospects and nurturing relationships with current clients. Collaborate with the sales department to devise compelling staffing solutions that align with client goals.
- Financial Oversight: Manage job and program budgets, ensuring compliance with financial guidelines and profitability objectives. Track expenses, oversee invoicing and billing processes, and analyze financial data to enhance resource allocation and cost-effectiveness.
- Database Management: Utilize and oversee the Staff Connect database for staffing recruitment, hiring, event management, reporting, and payroll functions. Ensure timely and accurate updates and communication through the system to facilitate seamless operations.
- Client Engagement: Cultivate and sustain strong relationships with key clients. Comprehend their staffing needs and ensure our solutions surpass their expectations.
- Talent Management: Supervise the recruitment and onboarding of both temporary and permanent staff. Maintain a high-quality talent pool by implementing effective sourcing and screening methods.
- Operational Efficiency: Monitor and refine staffing operations to ensure effectiveness and scalability. Adopt best practices and leverage technology to optimize processes.
- Data-Driven Insights: Employ data and analytics to track staffing metrics, identify trends, and make informed decisions. Prepare and present regular reports on staffing performance to senior leadership.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all staffing practices adhere to legal and regulatory standards. Stay informed about industry trends and changes in employment legislation.
- Innovative Solutions: Remain updated on industry trends and emerging technologies. Propose and implement innovative strategies to enhance staffing operations and client satisfaction.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related discipline. Advanced degrees or certifications are advantageous.
- Experience: A minimum of 5 years in staffing or recruitment, with at least 2 years in a leadership role. Experience in managing Alcohol/Liquor sampling events is highly preferred.
Skills: Exceptional communication abilities. Capacity to strategize, plan, and execute high-volume staffing requirements in a fast-paced environment while exercising sound judgment.
Work Style: Demonstrates the ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team. Excellent organizational skills are essential. A self-starter with a proactive attitude. Strong sense of urgency, adaptability, flexibility, and resourcefulness.
Technical Proficiency: Proficient in using Excel, Google Sheets, or other analytical tools for monitoring staffing metrics, financial data, and performance reports. Expertise in managing and organizing professional communication through email platforms.
