**Job Title:** Freight Brokerage Sales Executive
About Us: Patterson Companies Inc. is a leading provider of transportation solutions, seeking a highly motivated Sales and Logistics Expert to join our team.
Salary Range: $80,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience and performance.
Job Description:
We are looking for a dynamic sales professional with a passion for transportation solutions to leverage their existing customer base and entrepreneurial spirit to build and expand their book of business. As a Freight Brokerage Sales Executive, you will have the opportunity to work closely with our customers to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Contact new customers and utilize your unique skills to secure sales.
- Develop effective systems and processes for prospect identification, qualification, and management.
- Successfully sell and close new shippers while continuing to build your book of business.
- Implement strategies through prospect contact, proposal development, presentations, follow-up, and account management.
- Collaborate with Carrier Sales to secure equipment for your customers.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2-year experience in 3PL sales.
- Proficiency in Dry Van, Reefer, Flatbed, and/or LTL freight.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities.
- Self-motivated and team-oriented.
- Proficient with computer and technology.
- Experience using CRM (HubSpot) and TMS (McLeod) systems.
