Job Overview

Swoon is in search of a talented Compensation Analyst to support one of its esteemed clients in the Financial Services sector.

  • Work Arrangement - Remote
  • Compensation - $45+ per hour, 40 hours weekly

**Position Summary:**

The Compensation Analyst plays a crucial role in enhancing the organization's compensation initiatives. This position involves managing and executing policies, programs, and processes related to compensation. Additionally, the analyst provides guidance on base salary management, performs comprehensive market evaluations, and collaborates with senior personnel to advise HR Consultants and business leaders on compensation issues.

**Key Responsibilities:**

**Advisory Support:** Work alongside Compensation Consultants and act as an internal advisor to HR Consultants and business leaders on compensation-related topics as necessary.

**Annual Global Process:** Aid in coordinating the annual global process, which includes project management, stakeholder training and communication, reporting, analytics, and audits.

**External Salary Analysis:** Engage in the yearly external salary survey data collection and submission for the organization, analyzing results to extract valuable insights.

**Management of Job Descriptions:** Oversee the job description repository and manage the organization's salary survey database, providing recommendations on job evaluation processes and methodologies.

**Salary Management Programs:** Assist in the design and maintenance of salary management programs, including the development of salary structures, merit and promotional guidelines, and short-term incentives.

**Job Evaluation and Market Research:** Conduct thorough job evaluations, extensive market research, and create accurate job descriptions in line with industry standards.

**Project Assistance:** Support Compensation-related initiatives, working closely with cross-functional teams.

**Required Skills:**

Proficient in the administration and implementation of compensation programs.
- Strong analytical capabilities with the ability to interpret complex data.
- Excellent project management skills, including coordination and communication with stakeholders.
- Familiarity with salary survey data collection and analysis.
- Solid understanding of job evaluation methodologies and best practices.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- High attention to detail and accuracy in creating and maintaining job descriptions.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective consultation and support.
- Flexibility and adaptability in managing various compensation-related tasks and projects.
