About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Development Manager II to join our team at H-E-B. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategic plans to drive business growth and improve customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement 5-year strategic visions and omni-channel business plans for all categories
  • Lead and model an enthusiastic and courageous approach to problem-solving, driving innovation and growth
  • Successfully negotiate long-term cost components and develop, articulate, and deploy a long-term assortment strategy with suppliers
  • Incorporate supply chain initiatives into five-year plans and demonstrate restless dissatisfaction, always trying to improve things
Requirements
  • A related degree or comparable formal training, certification, or work experience
  • 5+ years of related experience, including 5+ years of experience in leadership and experience in retail operations, distribution, and/or supply chain
  • Strong understanding of negotiation principles, ability to analyze key information to create business plans, and strong verbal/written communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, shift focus between projects/tasks, and make key decisions daily
