Chatham University is seeking an experienced Administrative Assistant for Donor Services to provide administrative support to the Executive Director of University Advancement and the Office of Donor Services. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the gift entry process, updating constituent records, and preparing research on individual constituents and corporate prospects.
Key Responsibilities- Manage the overall gift entry process, ensuring gifts are properly categorized and prepared for deposit.
- Update constituent records, including supervising student workers and communicating with other Donor Services staff.
- Prepare research on individual constituents and corporate prospects for Donor Services staff and the Office of the President and Vice President.
- Work closely with the Assistant Director of Donor Services to develop and maintain the Donor Services policy and procedures manual.
- Bachelor's degree preferred or a combination of education and experience.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work with diverse colleagues and community members.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite and experience with donor or constituent databases and research.
- Strong mathematical skills and attention to detail.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
Chatham University offers a competitive salary range of $34,600-$40,000 per year, depending on candidate skills and experience. We also offer a hybrid schedule with both remote and in-person work options.
