Gables Search Group is on the lookout for a Sales Engineer to enhance their sales force in the Eastern United States. The selected candidate will play a crucial role in expanding market presence for advanced rheology solutions across multiple states. The compensation package for this role is competitive, with a base salary between $84,000 and $90,000, contingent upon prior experience in capital equipment sales, ideally within a related sector. The commission structure is designed to be uncapped, with monthly payouts and additional bonuses for exceeding sales goals. Moreover, the successful applicant will enjoy benefits such as a monthly vehicle reimbursement, comprehensive health benefits, profit-sharing opportunities, and a significant anniversary bonus every five years.
Key Responsibilities:
- Developing and nurturing new client relationships while effectively overseeing current accounts.
- Conducting informative presentations tailored to diverse audiences, including executive leadership, production supervisors, and technical staff.
- Identifying sales opportunities, preparing proposals, and closing transactions.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in capital equipment sales, particularly in analytical instruments or rheometers.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, complemented by excellent presentation capabilities.
- Ability to work independently with a strong commitment to customer satisfaction.
- A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as natural sciences or engineering.
- Willingness to travel frequently, with an expected travel rate of 50-60%.
- A valid driver's license with a clean driving record and a current passport.
