Role Responsibilities:

We are looking for a skilled Senior Solutions Engineer to join our ranks. If you are enthusiastic about contributing to a successful team, Obsidian Security offers a platform for you to make a meaningful impact. The Senior Solutions Engineer will be instrumental in managing the technical evaluation phase of the sales process, as well as mentoring and developing the team. This role involves collaborating with the sales team to provide technical guidance on Obsidian solutions and acting as a subject matter expert on challenges and solutions related to SaaS security. You will engage with prospects in a technical and educational manner throughout the sales cycle, advocating for customer needs back to product management and engineering. Close collaboration with the leadership team will be essential in building out the extended team in your designated regions. The ideal candidate will possess a proactive attitude, collaborative spirit, and in-depth knowledge of cybersecurity, particularly in offensive or defensive roles, along with strong software engineering skills.

  • Deliver compelling technical presentations that elucidate Obsidian solutions to both prospective and existing clients.
  • Work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to evaluate security requirements and align Obsidian solutions with client pain points.
  • Conduct proof-of-value engagements to secure technical endorsements.
  • Perform field reconnaissance to provide valuable insights to product management and engineering teams.
