Position Overview:

We are in search of a highly qualified and driven Senior Project Manager to join our expanding team in the construction sector. The ideal candidate will be tasked with the planning, coordination, and execution of projects while adhering to budgetary constraints, timelines, and project scopes. Additionally, they will be responsible for effectively monitoring project progress and communicating updates to stakeholders, clients, and team members. This role presents an excellent opportunity for a seasoned professional to significantly influence our operations and contribute to our strategic direction.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Manage all facets of construction project management from inception to completion.
2. Allocate resources efficiently for assigned projects.
3. Supervise onsite teams and subcontractors.
4. Collaborate with project inspectors, contractors, architects, engineers, and clients.
5. Negotiate with contractors to secure favorable pricing.
6. Uphold high standards of workmanship in line with original plans and specifications.
7. Prepare comprehensive internal and external reports regarding project status.
8. Anticipate potential issues and implement solutions proactively.
9. Oversee budgeting, scheduling, and other managerial aspects of the project.
10. Conduct risk assessments and ensure adherence to safety standards and regulations.
11. Analyze, manage, and mitigate risks effectively.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
2. At least 8 years of experience in a project management capacity within the construction industry.
3. Demonstrated expertise in project and construction management.
4. Proficient in conflict resolution and crisis management.
5. Strong knowledge of construction materials and equipment.
6. Experience in collaborating and negotiating with construction professionals.
7. Exceptional time management skills.
8. Ability to multitask with a solid understanding of core managerial responsibilities.
9. Comprehensive knowledge of construction procedures and project management principles.
10. Familiarity with quality assurance and health and safety standards.
11. Proficient in construction management software.
12. Outstanding organizational and leadership capabilities.
13. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
14. Proven experience in budget management.
15. Demonstrated abilities in strategic planning and goal setting.
16. Experience with contract management and estimation.
