Job Details

We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Senior Project Manager to join our dynamic team in the construction sector. The successful candidate will be responsible for the planning, coordination, and execution of projects within the established budget, timeline, and scope. They will also effectively monitor and communicate project updates to relevant stakeholders, clients, or project team members. This role presents an excellent opportunity for a proactive and experienced professional to significantly influence our operations and help guide our future direction.

Responsibilities:

1. Oversee all facets of construction project management from inception to completion.
2. Allocate resources effectively for assigned projects.
3. Supervise onsite personnel and subcontractors.
4. Collaborate with project inspectors, contractors, architects, engineers, and clients.
5. Negotiate with contractors to ensure fair pricing.
6. Maintain high standards of workmanship that align with original plans and specifications.
7. Prepare internal and external reports regarding job status.
8. Anticipate potential issues and resolve any emerging challenges.
9. Manage budgeting, scheduling, and other managerial aspects of the project.
10. Conduct risk assessments and ensure adherence to safety standards and regulations.
11. Analyze, manage, and mitigate risks.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
2. A minimum of 8 years of experience in a project management role within the construction industry.
3. Proven experience in project management and construction management.
4. Competent in conflict and crisis management.
5. Excellent knowledge of construction materials and equipment.
6. Previous experience in collaborating and negotiating with construction professionals.
7. Strong time management skills.
8. Ability to multitask with a solid understanding of core managerial duties.
9. Comprehensive understanding of construction procedures and project management principles.
10. Familiarity with quality and health and safety standards.
11. Proficient in construction management software packages.
12. Exceptional organizational and leadership skills.
13. Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
14. Proven experience in budget management.
15. Demonstrated strategic planning and goal-setting capabilities.
16. Experience with contract management and estimation.
