Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Operations Support Specialist to join our team at Fort Liberty Federal Credit Union. In this role, you will be responsible for monitoring and analyzing member account activity to protect the credit union from high-risk transactions and fraudulent activity.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor daily reports such as Shared Branching, Excessive Cash, IRA Contribution, IRA Distribution, and other high-risk transaction reports.
  • Verify accuracy and validity of transaction activity and document or report as needed.
  • Conduct research, develop solutions, and provide recommendations to the AVP, Operations on BSA/AML, Account, and Card fraud alerts.

You will work closely with the AVP, Operations to ensure branch and contact center staff adhere to transactional regulations, policies, and procedures. This includes providing descriptive narratives and documentation of fraudulent incidents and assisting with handling issues/questions related to fraud, Bank Secrecy Act, Customer Identification Program, and Office of Foreign Asset Control.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent combination of training, education, and experience.
  • At least 1-3 years of similar or related experience.
  • Excellent analytical skills to define problems, collect data, establish facts, draw valid conclusions, and prepare accurate analyses/reports.
  • Strong PC skills, with advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Superior interpersonal skills, ability to get along with diverse personalities, tactful, mature, flexible, compassionate.
Estimated Salary:

$50,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience.
