About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Operations and Maintenance Specialist to join our team at Veolia Water Technologies & Solutions. In this critical role, you will be responsible for providing operations and maintenance expertise on water treatment systems for our customers across various industries.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Equipment Performance Optimization: Operate, monitor, and optimize equipment performance to ensure efficient and effective water treatment processes.
  2. Maintenance and Calibration: Conduct regular maintenance and calibration activities to prevent downtime and ensure optimal system performance.
  3. Analytical Testing: Perform analytical testing such as turbidity, hardness, chlorine, pH, CO2, O2, SDI, TOC, and other site-specific requirements to ensure compliance with quality standards.
  4. Chemical Injection Systems: Monitor and maintain chemical injection systems to ensure accurate dosing and optimal system performance.
  5. Spare Parts Inventory Management: Maintain inventory of spare parts and ensure adequate supply of chemicals and replacement parts.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent: With 2+ years of experience in service/maintenance or equivalent in an industrial environment.
  • Bachelor's or Associate's Degree in Science/Engineering (STEM) or Technical Certificate: In Instrumentation, Controls, or programming, or water treatment equipment including UF/MBR.
  • PLC Control Systems Experience: Working experience with PLC control systems, PLC programming, and troubleshooting is preferred.
  • Travel Requirements: Ability to travel occasionally within the region.
  • Valid Driver's License: Required for site access and travel purposes.
