As a key member of our engineering department, you will be responsible for writing code that operates and enables the manufacturing robotics sold by our company.

Your primary focus will be on ensuring that machines are built correctly and meet the expectations of our customers, which ultimately impacts the revenue and long-term profitability of the company.

Key Responsibilities:

* Set up PCs within specified timeframes based on the complexity and uniqueness of the machine.
* Program manufacturing robotics using proprietary company coding language following procedures and instructions to meet customer expectations.
* Complete programming within specified timeframes based on the complexity and uniqueness of the machine to ensure goals and expectations are met.
* Ensure product is created according to specification based on instructions and job tracker with up to 99% quality.
* Read and interpret mechanical schematics to ensure accuracy.
* Utilize software to communicate issues or delays during build, on real time basis.
* Set up machine to perform process.
* Complete build within specified timeframes to ensure goals and expectations are met and product is developed on schedule.
* Ensure equipment is in optimum working order and brings issues to team leaders' attention within one hour when aware of machine interruption.
* Maintain confidentiality of customer information.
* Keep a neat and organized workstation for safety and efficiency.

Requirements:

* Self-starter who works independently, and in a fast-paced team environment.
* Exhibits sound judgement.
* Maintains a calm, tactful demeanor when dealing with difficult situations.
* Manages multiple projects and timelines with a sense of urgency and follow through.
* Well organized, analytical, and detail oriented.
* Comfortable working in a structured environment.
* Follows direction with focused attention.
* Exhibits initiative.
* Strong computer skills
* Proficiency in multiple programming languages, preferred. A successful candidate will be driven and motivated to learn PVA's specific programming language (DMC).
* Associates Degree in Computer Science or relevant programming experience, required.
