Key Responsibilities:
  • Greeting Patients: Greet patients professionally both in person and over the phone, providing a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
  • Communication: Answer patient calls and voicemails in a friendly and prompt manner, ensuring that patients feel heard and understood.
  • Scheduling: Confirm patient follow-up appointments and send reminder notifications as needed, ensuring that patients stay on track with their care.
  • Provider Support: Notify providers of patient arrivals and update patient records, ensuring that providers have the necessary information to provide high-quality care.
  • Administrative Tasks: Collect patient copays, maintain office inventory and equipment, and verify insurance information, ensuring that our office runs smoothly and efficiently.
Requirements:
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Possess excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with patients and providers.
  • Organizational Skills: Demonstrate strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Possess excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact positively with patients who may be upset or stressed.
  • Mental Health Experience: Previous experience in a mental health setting is a plus, but not required.
