We are seeking a part-time Medical Office Coordinator to join our team at Cabell Huntington Hospital/St. Mary's Medical Center. As a key member of our HIMG Communications Department, you will be responsible for greeting patients, scheduling appointments, and providing exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities
• Meet and greet patients, answering questions and providing information as needed
• Schedule appointments and manage patient flow
• Answer telephone calls and direct them to the appropriate personnel or departments
• File, fax, copy, and send reports as necessary
• Perform other office-related duties as needed or directed
Requirements
• High School graduate or equivalent required
• Business training, computer training, CPT/ICD training, and medical terminology preferred
• One year of medical department or hospital experience required
• Ability to type and use a computer, with a pleasant personality and excellent communication skills
