Advanced Speech Language Pathologist Role at Kaiser Permanente

We are seeking a skilled Speech Language Pathologist Level II to join our team in Berkeley, California.

About the Job

This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with complex cases and make a meaningful impact on patients' lives. As a Speech Language Pathologist Level II, you will be responsible for evaluating and administering diagnostic tests, providing individualized treatment plans, and collaborating with physicians to achieve optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate and administer diagnostic tests to assess communication disorders, voice, and swallowing impairments, and neurological defects.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for adults and children with various communication disorders.
  • Collaborate with physicians to adjust treatment plans as needed.
  • Provide training for junior therapists and participate in staff development programs.
  • Maintain department policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
Requirements:
  • Minimum two years of experience as a Speech Therapist.
  • Masters degree in Speech Language Pathology.
  • Speech-Language Pathologist License (California).
  • National Provider Identifier.
  • Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology Certificate.

Estimated Salary:

$83,000 - $110,000 per year, based on location and experience.
