About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapist to join our team at Kaiser Permanente in Berkeley, California.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality physical therapy services to patients under the supervision of the Rehabilitation Services Director.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate patients and develop effective treatment plans to address dysfunction.
  • Initiate discharge planning and implement treatment programs through direct patient interaction and coordination with other healthcare professionals.
  • Provide education and advice to patients and their families, while assessing clinical signs and symptoms to determine treatment effectiveness.
  • Ensure accurate and timely documentation of patient management.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited physical therapy program with a bachelor's, master's, or doctoral degree and certification in physical therapy or foreign-trained equivalent.
  • Current Physical Therapist License (California) and National Provider Identifier.
  • Basic Life Support certification required at hire.
  • Ability to work in a Labor/Management Partnership environment.
Compensation:

The estimated annual salary for this position is $85,000 - $110,000 based on experience and qualifications. A 20% per diem differential may be added to the base rate.
