Position Overview:
The Patient Monitoring Specialist / Administrative Coordinator plays a vital role in the Command Center, ensuring the continuous oversight of patient telemetry data and supporting the nursing staff in delivering exceptional care.

$22.50 - $33.59 per hour, with variations based on experience and qualifications.

Key Responsibilities:
As a Patient Monitoring Specialist / Administrative Coordinator, your primary duties will include:
  • Constantly monitoring electrocardiogram and SPO2 readings for assigned patients.
  • Alerting registered nurses of any significant changes in patient data.
  • Maintaining and inspecting monitoring equipment on a daily basis.
  • Collaborating with the patient care team to ensure efficient operations within the clinical station.
  • Responding promptly to telephones and patient call lights.
  • Assisting patients, visitors, and healthcare team members as needed.
  • Performing clerical tasks such as organizing the clinical area and tracking equipment inventory.
  • Updating the Charge Nurse on new admissions and maintaining census records.
  • Participating in shift swaps to maintain skill proficiency.
  • Completing additional tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:
  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Completion of a basic arrhythmia course (ECG certification) and ECG testing.
  • Preferred experience as a Patient Monitoring Specialist / Administrative Coordinator in a healthcare setting.
  • Completion of a Clerical Coordinator course, including medical terminology, is preferred.

Work Schedule:
Full-Time, Part-Time, and Per Diem positions are available, with a typical schedule of 12-hour shifts.
