About the Role

This is a hybrid role, with the expectation that time working will regularly take place outside of a company office. This role is mainly virtual work from home office.

As a Credit Servicing Specialist at First Citizens Bank, you will be part of a team that ensures accurate servicing and funding of all existing loans. You will be responsible for liaising between the front office and operations teams, working with the front office to understand and interpret key servicing requests for all loan types that SVB offers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Aids the front office in completing client servicing inquiries for existing loans.
  • Submits required information to Operations teams regarding advances, payments, loan payoffs, interest rate changes, etc. Client account inquiries would also entail creating performing interest rate calculations, pulling statements, submitting payoff letters/quotes, loan closures, ticklers, and completing loan research within the loan onboarding systems.
  • Participates in meetings, trainings, possible projects, and other duties as assigned by management.
  • Provides professional communication and timely responses with internal clients
Decision Making
  • Works within established procedures, processes and/or regulatory guidelines and utilizes authority credit matrix to level of determinations.
  • Basic judgement based on standard practices and procedures. Works with team and Supervisor for more complex decision impacts. Works within and follows established practices and procedures for resolving issues and completing tasks.
  • Credit Servicing builds a foundation of the bank, products, and organization. Credit Servicing also shares information with others within the group as to newly identified solutions or approaches to inquiries.

Qualifications
  • High School Diploma/GED with 1-3 years of related experience
  • Preferred Qualifications
    • Associate Degree in Business (e.g. Business Administration, Finance, Accounting) or equivalent work experience
    • Knowledge of basic banking policies and procedures
    • Knowledge of virtual production environment
    • Proficient on Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Teams Communicator)
