Credit Policy and Risk Management Specialist

At City National Bank, we are seeking a highly skilled Credit Policy and Risk Management Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Credit Policy Committee, you will be responsible for developing and implementing credit policies and procedures that align with our bank's risk management objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain credit policies and procedures that ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and bank policies.
  • Analyze and present data on credit portfolio trends and performance to senior management and the Credit Policy Committee.
  • Collaborate with lending units to create, review, and edit new and existing credit policies.
  • Identify gaps in current policy requirements and make recommendations for proposed revisions.
  • Conduct research and analysis on credit policy issues and recommend changes to senior management.

Requirements:

  • 7 years of experience in a banking environment, with a focus on credit risk management and regulatory supervision.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret trend data and make recommendations.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to present complex data to senior management and the Credit Policy Committee.
