Job Summary

American Health Associates Inc is seeking a skilled and experienced Mobile Phlebotomy Specialist to join our team. As a Mobile Phlebotomy Specialist, you will be responsible for collecting blood samples from patients in various settings, including long-term care facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collect blood samples from patients in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Properly identify patients and ensure accurate labeling of samples.
  • Transport samples to the laboratory for processing.
  • Work collaboratively with dispatch, payroll, laboratory, and courier departments.
  • Maintain accurate records and logs of patient interactions and sample collection.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum of 1 year of phlebotomy work experience required.
  • Valid State issued Driver License required.
  • Clean driving record for last 5-years; own reliable transportation, must provide proof of required auto insurance coverage (100/300/100).
  • Clean criminal history, as required for positions with direct patient care.
  • Phlebotomy Certification from an accredited training school or equivalent preferred.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 3 years of phlebotomy work experience required for Home Draw opportunities.
  • Additional credentialing requirements must be successfully completed prior to working on our Home Draw team.
