Key Responsibilities

As a Senior Internal Auditor, your role will focus on enhancing our client's operations through a methodical and disciplined approach to risk management, control, and governance processes.

Primary Duties in this Internal Auditor Position:

  • Executing and overseeing the complete audit cycle, which includes risk management and control management to ensure operational effectiveness, financial reliability, and compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Defining the internal audit scope and formulating annual audit plans.
  • Collecting, analyzing, and assessing accounting documentation, prior reports, data, flowcharts, etc.
  • Creating and delivering reports that accurately reflect audit outcomes and document processes.
  • Providing independent advice to ensure compliance, legality, and achievement of objectives.
  • Identifying weaknesses and proposing measures for risk mitigation and cost efficiency.
  • Maintaining open lines of communication with management and the audit committee.
  • Documenting processes and preparing audit findings reports.
  • Conducting follow-up audits to assess management's corrective actions.
  • Engaging in ongoing professional development concerning industry regulations, best practices, tools, techniques, and performance standards.

Qualifications

We are in search of a discerning Internal Auditor who possesses a comprehensive understanding of accounting practices and sound judgment, complemented by strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. The ideal candidate should be exceptionally organized and detail-oriented, capable of working both independently and collaboratively. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with the ability to thrive under pressure in a dynamic environment, are essential.

Specific qualifications for this internal auditing role include:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Demonstrated experience as an Internal Auditor.
  • Experience with SOX Audits.
  • Proficient in advanced computer applications, including MS Office, accounting software, and databases.
  • Ability to manage extensive data sets and compile comprehensive reports.
  • Solid understanding of auditing standards, procedures, laws, and regulations.
Compensation: $85,000 to $95,000
