We are seeking a highly skilled Guest Experience Expert to join our team at JW Marriott Washington DC. As a key member of our Rooms & Guest Services Operations team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional guest experiences and ensuring seamless check-in/check-out processes.
Key Responsibilities- Organize and confirm guest reservations, requests, and changes in a timely and efficient manner.
- Process guest payments, verify billing, and secure payment.
- Activate and file room keys, and provide guests with directions and information regarding property amenities and services.
- Respond to guest requests and concerns, and follow up to ensure satisfaction.
- Run and review daily reports/logs, and complete designated cashier and closing reports.
- Count bank at beginning and end of shift, and secure bank.
- Process all payment types, adjustment vouchers, paid-outs, correction vouchers, and miscellaneous charges.
- Respond to special requests from guests with unique needs, and follow up to ensure satisfaction.
- Review shift logs/daily memo books, and document pertinent information in logbooks.
- Receive, record, and relay messages accurately, completely, and legibly.
- Notify Loss Prevention/Security of any guest reports of theft.
- Operate telephone switchboard station, and answer, record, and process all guest calls, requests, questions, or concerns.
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
- No related work experience required.
- No supervisory experience required.
- Ability to stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time or for an entire work shift.
- Ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 10 pounds without assistance.
