Role Summary

The Marketing Operations Specialist will assist in the daily activities and initiatives of the Marketing Division.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Collaborate with the Marketing Director to create and manage a comprehensive social media calendar across various platforms. Oversee brand presence on social media channels and implement campaigns to boost content visibility and maintain a cohesive online identity.
  2. Generate and curate captivating content for social media outlets; work alongside the Graphic Designer as necessary.
  3. Ensure brand voice consistency across all communication platforms.
  4. Regularly update website content as required.
  5. Support the coordination of content development and other marketing initiatives from start to finish, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines.
  6. Participate in company event activations as needed to enhance brand visibility.
  7. Conduct research, gather pricing, and provide insights on branded promotional materials and event items.
  8. Work with the marketing team to strategize and implement on-site event activations.
  9. Handle administrative tasks such as organizing meetings, maintaining project timelines, and liaising with external vendors to ensure effective campaign execution.
  10. Track industry trends and competitor activities, compiling and organizing relevant content and information across various media. Provide insights and reports on market trends and competitor strategies.
  11. Propose and implement effective processes and systems to ensure efficient creation, updating, and completion of work.
  12. Demonstrate respect for colleagues, uphold commitments, inspire trust, and act with integrity while representing the organization.
  13. Maintain professionalism and act as a representative of the bank in all interactions.

  17. Perform duties safely, without jeopardizing personal or others' health and safety, and report any potentially hazardous conditions. Comply with occupational safety standards and regulations.

Required Qualifications

  • 1-3 years of experience in marketing, communications, or related fields.
  • Degree in marketing, integrated strategic communications, graphic design, or a related discipline.
  • Proficient in social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Meta Business).
  • Experience with event activations is preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Familiarity with Adobe Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat).
  • Photography skills are highly desirable.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Knowledge of digital advertising.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.

Additional Responsibilities

The Marketing Operations Specialist may undertake specific duties related to the position and other tasks as assigned.

Work Environment

This role is situated in a standard office environment, allowing for mobility. The position may involve driving a bank or personal vehicle occasionally, with exposure to various weather conditions and minor distractions such as noise or drafts.

The incumbent will engage in various activities including writing, typing, speaking, listening, lifting (up to 25 pounds), driving, and other physical tasks as necessary.
