The Logistics Operations Specialist plays a vital role in supporting various functions within the warehouse environment. This includes tasks such as receiving shipments, processing orders, managing shipping activities, conducting inventory counts, and overseeing UPS Depot inventory.


Key Responsibilities
  • Generate maintenance and time & materials sales orders.
  • Engage in general warehouse operations, which encompass product receipt, order fulfillment from stock or depot, packaging, shipping, and conducting inventory cycle counts.
  • Facilitate same-day shipping processes.
  • Restock inventory for both warehouse and depot locations.
  • Handle Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) requests, including processing and tracking.
  • Maintain communication with Internal Sales Representatives, National Account Managers, Project Managers, and the Customer Service Operations team.
  • Monitor and track order shipments.
  • Assist with purchasing related to maintenance sales orders.

Additional Duties
  • Operate lift trucks or hoists to move shipments from the receiving area to storage.
  • Support labeling and packaging efforts.
  • Assist in obtaining freight quotes.
  • Organize and manage warehouse inventory.
  • Order necessary supplies for warehouse operations.
  • Prepare shipping cartons.
  • Set up and prepare repair orders.
  • Contribute to inventory cycle counts and adjustments.
