Role Summary

The Marketing Operations Specialist will assist in the daily activities and responsibilities of the Marketing Division.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Collaborate with the Marketing Director to create and manage a social media calendar across various platforms. Oversee brand presence on social media channels. Implement social media initiatives to boost content visibility and ensure a cohesive online identity.
  2. Generate and curate captivating content for social media outlets; work alongside the Graphic Designer as necessary.
  3. Uphold brand voice consistency across all communication channels.
  4. Revise and update website content as required.
  5. Support the coordination of content development and other marketing initiatives from start to finish, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines.
  6. Participate in company event activations as required to enhance brand visibility.
  7. Conduct research, gather pricing information, and offer suggestions on branded promotional materials and event items.
  8. Partner with the marketing team to strategize and implement on-site event activations.
  9. Handle administrative tasks such as organizing meetings, maintaining project timelines, and liaising with external vendors to ensure efficient campaign execution.
  10. Monitor and analyze industry trends and competitor activities, compiling and archiving relevant content and information across various media. Provide insights on industry developments and competitor strategies.
  11. Propose and implement effective processes and systems to ensure that work is created, updated, maintained, and completed efficiently.

Required Qualifications

  • 1-3 years of experience in advertising, communications, or related fields.
  • A degree in marketing, integrated strategic communications, graphic design, or a related discipline.
  • Proficient in major social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Meta Business).
  • Experience with event activations is preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Familiarity with Adobe Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat).
  • Photography skills are highly desirable.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Knowledge of digital advertising practices.
  • Able to work independently on tasks while also collaborating effectively within a team.
Additional Responsibilities

The Marketing Operations Specialist may perform other duties specific to the role and additional functions as assigned.

Work Environment

The position is based in a non-restrictive office environment, allowing for free movement. The role may involve driving a bank or personal vehicle approximately 10 percent of the time, with exposure to outdoor weather conditions and mechanical components. Minor annoyances such as noise, odors, and drafts may be present.

In performing this role, the incumbent will engage in activities such as writing, typing, speaking, listening, lifting (up to 25 pounds), driving, carrying, seeing (including close, color, and peripheral vision), sitting, pulling, walking, standing, squatting, kneeling, and reaching.

The incumbent may operate various equipment, including telephones, smartphones, copy and fax machines, calculators, scanners, and computers, as directed.
