Job Overview

  • Quality Assurance
  • Adheres to all relevant standard operating procedures, process documentation, and quality protocols such as Statistical Process Control (SPC), poka-yoke, and visual standards.
  • Raises concerns to mitigate cost and quality risks.
  • Conducts quality inspections.
  • Identifies and manages non-conforming materials.
  • Production Goals
  • Operates both manual and automated machinery to manufacture and assemble products, ensuring they meet customer specifications.
  • Exhibits a high level of proficiency in essential work skills.
  • Meets production targets.
  • Works at the required cycle time or established engineering standards.
  • Maintains a clean and organized workspace, including routine cleaning tasks and machine maintenance.
  • Remains adaptable and performs other miscellaneous tasks as needed to achieve production objectives.

Qualifications

Education, Licenses, Certifications

High school diploma or equivalent educational experience as required by applicable regulations.
This position may necessitate licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.

Experience

Requires some work experience or intermediate knowledge gained through education, training, or practical experience.

Maintains a clean and organized workspace, including routine cleaning tasks and machine maintenance as defined in production work. Conducts rework, scrap transactions, and external rework transactions, identifying and managing non-conforming materials. Collects, analyzes, and displays operational data; engages in formal problem-solving techniques when issues arise. Utilizes material handling equipment including hoists and forklifts to transport parts and skids. Understands and complies with departmental, site, and company policies and procedures, including the proper use of required personal protective equipment. Participates in training and personal development; assists in training department personnel. Engages in improvement projects; applies common problem-solving techniques while working independently or in teams. Communicates effectively with the assigned team and all support teams. Maintains cleanliness and safety in work areas. Remains flexible and performs other miscellaneous duties as necessary to complete tasks. Completes work with minimal supervision. Operates within a team-based work system and rotates job responsibilities as needed.
