Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver Materials: Safely drive and handle all materials in accordance with company standards of service.
  • Warehouse Operations: Receive, store, and distribute materials, tools, equipment, and products within the warehouse, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of all job functions.
  • Customer Service: Effectively and professionally meet and communicate with the public, including customers and salespeople.
  • Shipping and Receiving: Load and unload trucks, read customer orders, work orders, and shipping orders to determine items to be picked, packed, distributed, or shipped.
  • Inventory Management: Use computer and RF guns to manage sales orders, inventory, and enter information into the business management system.
  • Warehouse Maintenance: Participate in cycle counting of physical inventory, open boxes and other containers, operate wire cutters, and sweep, dust, and mop the warehouse and work area.
Requirements
  • Education: High School diploma or GED.
  • License: Class E driver's license (Class C for drivers in Illinois).
  • Experience: 3 to 4 years of experience in material handling, customer service, or the electrical supply industry.
Working Conditions

This position operates in a warehouse setting with some outdoor exposure during the workday. The role routinely uses standard office equipment and standard warehouse equipment.
