We are in search of a meticulous and highly organized Laboratory and Supply Chain Supervisor to enhance our team. This role is pivotal in managing the daily operations of a state-of-the-art electronics laboratory, ensuring that valuable inventory and equipment are treated with the highest level of care, while also working alongside the broader team to optimize lab and logistics processes. This key position will significantly contribute to the entire product lifecycle, from design and testing to delivery of our premium offerings.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee efficient lab operations, ensuring organized and functional workspaces. Conduct equipment inspections, coordinate repairs, manage inventory, and enhance storage solutions.
  • Collaborate with the team to maintain an effective schedule for equipment usage and upkeep.
  • Perform visual assessments of semiconductor components, identify potential issues, and support efforts to maintain product quality standards.
  • Implement safety protocols in line with industry standards, maintain safety documentation, and work closely with Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) teams.
  • Foster a collaborative environment within the lab, facilitate interdepartmental coordination, and ensure clear communication regarding lab requirements.
  • Assist in managing lab budgets, monitor expenditures, and optimize resource allocation.
  • Oversee the shipping and delivery processes for high-value products, liaising with suppliers and vendors to ensure quality, safety, and accuracy while minimizing risks.
  • Maintain accurate logistics records and enforce safety regulations.
  • Research and adopt best practices for logistics and packaging solutions.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline (e.g., Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Physics).
  • Demonstrated experience in an electro-optic or semiconductor laboratory setting as a Lab Manager or in a comparable role. Experience in biology or chemistry labs is not applicable.
  • Familiarity with laboratory equipment (e.g., VNA, oscilloscopes, microscopes, testers).
  • Understanding of laboratory safety regulations and compliance, particularly regarding ESD Management.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with a keen attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • A strong desire to learn through practical experience and a proactive approach to tasks.
