Job Description

As a Supply Chain Operations Director, you will be leading operations at essential contract manufacturing partners in the S&RC (Sleep & Respiratory Care devices) supply chain, with accountability for all operational performance aspects.

Responsibilities:

- Overseeing operations with key Sleep & Respiratory Care (S&RC) supply chain partners, focusing on safety, quality, delivery, cost, S&OP, and sustainability

- Being the primary operational contact with S&RC procurement and central commodity teams and essential Contract Manufacturing (CM) partners

- Driving operational excellence and capability development within assigned scope

- Leading medium/long term planning with the Integrated Planning team to ensure end-to-end alignment and support decision-making between Philips and CMs regarding capital, inventory investment, and resourcing

- Conducting quarterly business review and operational plan alignment, setting expectations for productivity, volume, resource planning, capacity investment, inventory, and cost planning

- Managing inventory for finished goods and components at key CM partners to optimize levels, improve cashflow, and reduce expedite costs

- Establishing financial and operational data flow between Philips and key CM partners, including periodic auditing

- Focusing on CM partner quality performance in collaboration with supplier quality, ensuring timely execution of corrective actions

- Monitoring supplier delivery and operational performance, leading corrective actions to address any gaps

- Managing communication of disruptions, recovery plans, and supply impacts with S&RC leadership

- Overseeing industrial transfer activity and sourcing programs to align with operational plans

- Collaborating with finance, procurement, and engineering to achieve annual productivity targets and align funnel activity

- Acting as the primary representative of CM partners in S&RC Integrated Supply Chain forums

Requirements:

- Bachelor's/Master's Degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field

- 10+ years of experience in operations management, planning, inventory management, sourcing, and supply chain financials

- Strong ability to lead discussions with multiple executive stakeholders to drive optimized decisions

- Experience in supplier relationship management within manufacturing environments

- Proven experience in contract manufacturing and 3rd party operations in the medical device industry

- Strong analytical skills for data-driven decision-making

- Proficiency in ERP and operational data tools/systems, preferred SAP experience

- Skill in managing multi-party negotiations

- Extensive experience in leading cross-functional teams and achieving results through shared goals and commitments
