About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Data Analyst to join our team at W. L. Gore & Associates. In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing procurement spend data, developing and reporting key performance indicators (KPIs), and performing ad-hoc data analysis to support business decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage Procurement KPI Dashboard and Supporting Data Tracking: Develop and maintain a comprehensive KPI dashboard to track procurement performance, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
  • Perform Procurement Financial and Spend Analysis: Conduct in-depth analysis of procurement spend data to identify cost-saving opportunities, optimize supplier relationships, and inform business strategy.
  • Drive Broad Market Intelligence Initiatives: Capture, analyze, and report on market intelligence to inform procurement decisions and stay ahead of industry trends.
  • Manage Procurement Data Infrastructure and Data Management Projects: Design, implement, and maintain data management systems to ensure accurate and timely data reporting.
  • Support Ad-Hoc Procurement Category Needs: Provide data-driven insights and analysis to support procurement category managers in making informed decisions.
  • Provide Data for Compliance Audits and Certifications: Ensure data accuracy and completeness to support compliance audits and certifications, including sustainability initiatives.
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Computer Science, or Business: A degree in a relevant field is required, with a strong foundation in data analysis and business principles.
  • Minimum of 3 Years' Experience in a Data-Oriented Supply Chain Role: Proven experience in a data-driven supply chain role, with a strong track record of delivering insights and analysis to support business decision-making.
  • Proficiency in Data Query and Analysis Tools: Strong skills in data query and analysis tools, including database management, PowerBI, and advanced Excel.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite: Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, including PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Teams, and Outlook.
  • Demonstrated Critical Thinking, Problem-Solving, and Data Analysis Skills: Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data sets and identify insights.
  • Excellent Stakeholder Management and Written and Verbal Communication Skills: Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to present complex data insights to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to Translate Business Needs into Meaningful Data Queries and Analysis: Strong ability to translate business needs into meaningful data queries and analysis, with a focus on delivering actionable insights.
  • Ability to Travel up to 5%: Ability to travel up to 5% for business purposes, as required.
