The ideal candidate will possess a deep knowledge of HRIS systems and demonstrate a proven track record in managing and optimizing SAP SuccessFactors implementations across various business environments.
As a Senior Advanced SAP SuccessFactors Technical Consultant, you will be responsible for leading the design, implementation, optimization, and support of SAP SuccessFactors solutions for our clients. You will serve as a key technical expert, providing advanced consulting services to ensure that the SAP SuccessFactors platform is optimized to meet business needs, enhance user experience, and comply with relevant regulations. Your role will involve extensive collaboration with internal teams and external stakeholders, guiding them through complex technical challenges and delivering innovative, scalable solutions.
Key Responsibilities1. SAP SuccessFactors Expertise and Technology Proficiency- Deep Technical Knowledge: Utilize an extensive understanding of SAP SuccessFactors’ modules, including Employee Central, Performance and Goals, Compensation, Learning, Recruitment, Onboarding, and Succession Planning, to drive system enhancements and optimizations. Apply technical expertise to configure, troubleshoot, and optimize SAP SuccessFactors modules, ensuring seamless integration with other enterprise systems.
- System Behavior Analysis: Analyze system behavior and functionality to identify opportunities for optimization and performance improvements. Leverage advanced knowledge of SAP SuccessFactors to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues, ensuring optimal system performance and user satisfaction.
- Client Engagement and Requirement Gathering: Lead comprehensive client assessments to gather and document business requirements. Conduct gap analyses and develop actionable project plans to address specific business needs. Engage with clients to understand their strategic goals and design solutions that align with their organizational objectives.
- Solution Design and Development: Design and implement robust, scalable SAP SuccessFactors solutions that meet business requirements, optimize performance, and enhance user experience. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop technical specifications, configure system modules, and ensure successful project delivery.
- Project Management: Oversee all aspects of SAP SuccessFactors implementation projects, including planning, execution, monitoring, and closure. Manage project workstreams, deliverables, timelines, and budgets, ensuring successful project completion and client satisfaction. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders, acting as a trusted advisor and technical SME throughout the implementation process.
- Continuous System Optimization: Monitor and assess SAP SuccessFactors system performance, identifying areas for improvement and optimization. Implement best practices in infrastructure, workflows, and automation to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. Lead initiatives to streamline processes, reduce manual interventions, and improve overall system functionality.
- Innovation and Enhancement: Drive innovation by leveraging SAP SuccessFactors’ capabilities to develop new functionalities and enhancements that support business objectives. Stay abreast of emerging trends and technologies in HRIS, recommending and implementing solutions that align with organizational goals and priorities.
- Hands-On Configuration: Act as the primary hands-on operator within the technical team, configuring and optimizing SAP SuccessFactors modules to meet business needs. Quickly analyze and resolve system errors, exceptions, and performance issues, minimizing downtime and enhancing user experience.
- Integration Expertise: Lead integration efforts between SAP SuccessFactors and other enterprise systems, including ERP, CRM, and financial systems. Assess technical requirements, perform hands-on configuration, and conduct detailed field analysis to ensure seamless data flow and system interoperability. Collaborate with internal and external teams to provide advanced integration support and drive successful outcomes.
- Time and Attendance Configuration: Configure and maintain advanced timekeeping systems, scheduling tools, and time clocks within SAP SuccessFactors. Manage leave management, vacation and sick accruals, and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations. Develop and configure HR transactional events, system XML forms, and mobile applications to enhance workforce management capabilities.
- Compliance and Automation: Ensure compliance with all relevant labor laws and regulations, implementing automation and workflows to streamline processes and reduce manual intervention. Monitor system performance and make adjustments as needed to maintain compliance and optimize efficiency.
- Data Integrity and Governance: Establish and maintain a comprehensive reports library within SAP SuccessFactors, promoting data integrity and conducting frequent audits to ensure accuracy. Develop data governance policies and procedures to ensure data quality and consistency across systems.
- Advanced Reporting and Analytics: Develop and deliver advanced reports, dashboards, and analytics using SAP SuccessFactors’ reporting tools. Provide key stakeholders with timely and accurate information to support decision-making and strategic planning. Utilize advanced data analysis skills to identify trends, generate insights, and make data-driven recommendations.
- Compensation Planning and Management: Configure and manage all aspects of compensation within SAP SuccessFactors, including base pay, bonuses, merit increases, and other compensation elements. Provide guidance and support for the design and implementation of compensation strategies that align with business objectives and promote fairness and equity.
- Learning and Development: Configure and maintain SAP SuccessFactors Learning, ensuring alignment with organizational learning and development goals. Support the implementation of learning initiatives, including course creation, content management, and user engagement. Configure learning plans, calendars, and content to enhance employee development and performance.
- Performance Management: Configure and manage performance management processes within SAP SuccessFactors, including goal setting, performance reviews, and development planning. Ensure alignment with organizational objectives and promote a culture of continuous feedback and improvement.
- Financial Systems Expertise: Work closely with finance teams to configure and maintain the general ledger within SAP SuccessFactors, ensuring accurate account mapping and integration with ERP and financial systems. Conduct regular audits and reviews of cost centers, direct/indirect labor, and other financial data to ensure compliance with financial policies and regulations.
- Ad Hoc Reporting and Analysis: Develop and maintain ad hoc reports to support financial analysis and decision-making. Provide ongoing support to finance teams, ensuring data accuracy and consistency across systems. Utilize SAP SuccessFactors’ financial reporting tools to create custom reports and perform complex data analysis.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Advanced SAP SuccessFactors certifications in relevant modules are highly preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 8 years of experience as an SAP SuccessFactors Technical Consultant or similar role, with a strong focus on HRIS, system configuration, integration, and project management. Proven experience in designing and implementing SAP SuccessFactors solutions, with a deep understanding of its architecture, functionality, and best practices.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SAP SuccessFactors modules such as Employee Central, Performance and Goals, Compensation, Learning, Recruitment, Onboarding, and Succession Planning. Strong technical skills in system configuration, integration, and reporting, with a deep understanding of SAP SuccessFactors’ security features, business processes, and reporting tools.
- Project Management: Demonstrated experience managing complex SAP SuccessFactors implementation projects, with a strong focus on stakeholder management, communication, and collaboration. Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring successful delivery on time and within budget.
