Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and sell a variety of fudge products to customers.
  • Perform various functions within Ginna's restaurant, including deli service, barista duties, grilling, ice cream preparation, baking, and other tasks as assigned by management.
  • Adhere to all food safety regulations as mandated by local and state laws.
  • Ensure proper receipt and storage of all products in line with Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Assist in onboarding and training new team members using established guidelines and mentorship tools.
  • Maintain cash control and follow Scheels' cashier protocols.
  • Support daily operations, including cleaning schedules and opening/closing tasks.
  • Keep up-to-date knowledge of café recipes and prepared food items.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring a professional appearance.
  • Exhibit professionalism in demeanor and contribute positively to team dynamics while adhering to Scheels' policies.
  • Demonstrate basic math skills for cash handling and inventory management.
  • Read and interpret safety documents and operational manuals.
  • Compose routine reports and correspondence as needed.
  • Communicate effectively with customers and team members.
  • Work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
  • Prepare a diverse range of food and beverages.

Education & Experience:

The ideal candidate will possess a high school diploma or equivalent, along with relevant experience or training.

Physical Requirements:

Be aware that our food products may contain common allergens.

Must be capable of performing various physical tasks, including sitting, standing, bending, climbing, and lifting as necessary.

This position may require exerting moderate physical effort, including lifting weights ranging from 20 to 50 pounds occasionally.
