About Us

The Role
The Data Platform team owns the data, infrastructure, and tooling for developing a learned driver. As a Technical Lead, you will work with machine learning research engineers, virtual world simulation engineers, robotics engineers, and safety drivers to ingest, enrich, and visualize thousands of hours of driving data.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain data governance tooling for controlling and auditing access to data.
- Ensure data quality and validation, removing examples of bad driving.
- Label, enrich, and augment data at scale using thousands of GPUs simultaneously.
- Orchestrate data processing and machine learning workloads by building infrastructure for running Flyte and notebook environments.

About You
To succeed as a Technical Lead at Wayve, you should have 5+ years of professional experience in Software Engineering, proficiency in Spark and Kubernetes, and experience building reliable data pipelines. You should also be passionate about infrastructure and have experience working closely with users to shape data to fit their needs.
