Job Description

At HelloKindred, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Account Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate is a critical thinker and strategic self-starter, deeply passionate about solving high-impact business challenges through targeted marketing and communications strategies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Client Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, serving as the primary point of contact and trusted advisor throughout their journey.
  • Account Growth: Identify opportunities to expand our services within existing client accounts, working closely with the sales and marketing teams to upsell and cross-sell relevant offerings.
  • Strategic Planning: Collaborate with clients to understand their business objectives, challenges, and market dynamics, developing comprehensive strategic marketing and communications plans that align with their goals and drive tangible results.
  • Project Management: Oversee the execution of marketing campaigns and communication initiatives, coordinating with numerous vendors and internal teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet or exceed client expectations.
  • Client Advocacy: Act as the voice of the client, advocating for their needs and preferences, and providing valuable feedback to internal teams to continuously improve our services and offerings.
  • Market Research: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitive landscape, and best practices, leveraging this knowledge to identify new opportunities and propose innovative strategies to clients.
  • Performance Measurement: Implement metrics and KPIs to evaluate the success of marketing campaigns and communications initiatives, providing clients with regular reports and insights on their campaigns' performance.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in strategic account management within a consulting firm or related industry, with a successful track record of managing large and medium-sized customers.
  • Experience working in an agency and juggling multiple projects or clients at a time in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience directly managing people.
  • Familiarity with the energy, life sciences, industrial, and/or technology industries, with a deep understanding of their unique challenges and opportunities.
  • Oil and Gas industry and enterprise-level experience, as well as expertise in both marketing and branding are mandatory.
  • A strategic mindset with the ability to think critically, analyze data, and develop innovative marketing and communications strategies.
  • Exceptional communication skills, including strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present ideas and proposals to clients persuasively.
  • A passion for delivering unparalleled client service and exceeding expectations.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring their successful completion within deadlines.
  • Collaborative and able to work effectively with cross-functional teams to achieve common goals.
  • Driven by achieving measurable results and a commitment to continuous improvement.
  • Proficient in Google Workspaces and Microsoft office.
