Strategic Account Manager Opportunity

Tang Company, a leading provider of drug and alcohol testing services, is seeking a highly motivated Strategic Account Manager to drive customer success and strengthen strategic partnerships.

This role requires a combination of strong business acumen, leadership skills, and the ability to create innovative programs that enhance our market position.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead all aspects of account management for strategic accounts, setting goals for broader teams and ensuring excellence in execution.
  • Build strong relationships with customer and internal executives, fostering long-term partnerships.
  • Guide internal teams through customer RFPs, negotiations, and contract renewals, ensuring profitability and growth.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams to support strategic account initiatives, optimizing customer outcomes.
  • Lead the customer success team in building scalable strategies that increase customer satisfaction, retention, and product adoption.

Requirements:

  • 6-8 years of progressive experience in account management or a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of the drug and alcohol testing industry, as well as TPA practices.
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales targets in a fast-paced environment.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to influence and build rapport with executive leadership.
  • Expertise in strategic thinking, contract negotiations, and delivering customer success strategies.
  • Strong PowerPoint, Excel, and project management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, resolve complex issues, and navigate challenging situations with tact and resilience.
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
