Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the leadership team to develop the strategic vision of the organization
  • Oversee staff in multiple departments handling financial transactions, including billing, financial reporting, accounts payable and receivable, and reporting
  • Prepare and present financial information to the leadership team
  • Develop and communicate weekly, monthly, and quarterly financial statements
  • Participate in the development of the operating budget
  • Oversee long-term budgetary planning and cost management in alignment with the strategic plan
  • Manage multiple operating and trust accounts
  • Maintain a system of controls over accounting transactions
  • Identify and report significant variances from the budget or forecast to executive management
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of experience in a professional services environment, preferably in a CPA firm or law firm
  • Excellent skills in finance, accounting, budgeting, controls, analysis, and reporting
  • Demonstrated experience managing staff, including performance evaluations and recommendations
  • Strong attendance and adherence to policies and procedures
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Bachelor's degree required, Master's degree and/or CPA highly preferred
