Job Overview

Health Advocates is in search of a Coordinator I to provide essential clerical support within our organization.


Position Summary
Under direct supervision, this role entails delivering moderately complex administrative assistance within a designated department. Key responsibilities include:

  • Receiving and processing incoming correspondence.
  • Responding to inquiries through various communication channels.
  • Sorting and distributing mail and reports.
  • Generating reports via computer systems.
  • Entering data into a digital data entry platform.
  • Preparing email requests and gathering necessary documentation.
  • Retrieving and filing correspondence as needed.
  • Performing scanning, faxing, and copying tasks.
  • Maintaining and updating departmental logs and journals.
  • Executing additional duties as assigned.


Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED equivalent is required.

• A minimum of 2 years' experience in performing moderately complex office tasks in a professional setting.

• Experience in generating reports using Microsoft Excel is essential.

• Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Excel is required.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage with various levels of staff and clients.

• Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational abilities.

• Capable of working independently as well as collaboratively.

• Strong data entry capabilities.

• Adaptable to changes in a dynamic work environment.

• Typing speed of at least 30 words per minute is necessary.

Compensation and Schedule

• Pay Rate: $23.50 per hour (dependent on relevant experience).
• Employment Type: Full-time; Non-exempt.
• Work Schedule: Alternative Work Week - Monday to Thursday from 7:30 am to 5:00 pm and Friday from 7:30 am to 12:30 pm.
