Position Overview
As a Principal Reactor Refueling Engineer in the S8G Safety Systems group, you will engage in addressing technical and scheduling challenges to support various operational groups. Your role will be pivotal in the development of packages, managing plant conditions, and ensuring the safe functioning of the S8G Prototype.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Collaborating with a lead engineer to facilitate the development of essential work documents.
- Managing schedules and projects related to ESFS systems.
- Engineering solutions to operational and material challenges.
Key Responsibilities
Your specific duties will encompass:
- Scoping and developing necessary documentation to ensure the efficient operation of ESFS systems.
- Planning and scheduling operations-level work, including preventive and corrective maintenance.
- Interfacing with design agents to ensure timely resolution of deliverables.
- Assisting with spare parts management to support maintenance activities.
Qualifications
To be considered for this role, you should possess:
- A Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related scientific field, accompanied by 9 years of relevant experience.
- Previous qualifications as a Shift Supervisor Part II, SIT, or CRE, or extensive experience as an SRE.
- Prior Nuclear Plant Engineer (NPE) or Crew Training Engineer (CTE) qualifications.
