Job Summary

GBC International Bank is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented SBA Loan Processing Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our operations department, you will be responsible for coordinating and maintaining the SBA loan processing and documentation operations activities and administration.

Key Responsibilities
  • Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) Expertise: Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of SBA's SOPs manuals to ensure compliance and efficiency in loan processing.
  • Loan Document Processing: Order and accurately process SBA loan application documents, ensuring all necessary forms and eligibility criteria are met.
  • File Maintenance: Assemble and maintain SBA loan files, ensuring accurate and up-to-date documentation.
  • Application Form Management: Obtain all necessary SBA application forms, including eligibility forms, and maintain accurate records.
  • Lending Application Management: Maintain SBA lending applications and corresponding files, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
  • Process Improvement: Anticipate and identify areas for improvement, recommending solutions to enhance loan processing efficiency and quality.
  • Policy and Procedure Expertise: Maintain expert-level knowledge of unit policies, procedures, standards, and workflow to ensure compliance and efficiency.
  • Desk Audit and PLP Renewal Support: Assist in preparing or coordinating for SBA desk audits and PLP renewals.
  • BSA Compliance: Comply with all BSA-related training and procedures, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements.
Requirements
  • Previous Work Experience: Previous work-related skill, knowledge, or experience is required.
  • SBA Closing Experience: A minimum of one year SBA closing experience is required.
  • SBA E-Tran Knowledge: Working knowledge of SBA E-Tran is essential.
  • Computer Skills: Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook, are required.
  • Attention to Detail: Be detail-oriented and well-organized, with the ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to deal with difficult problems involving multiple facets and variables in non-standardized situations.

Education
