SUMMARY
This role is crucial in ensuring compliance with all banking regulations and internal policies, including but not limited to the Sarbanes-Oxley Act, Bank Secrecy Act, and Anti-Money Laundering requirements. The incumbent will be responsible for identifying and reporting any suspicious activities in accordance with the Bank Secrecy Act.
POSITION SUMMARY
The individual in this position will underwrite and process new loan applications, ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Verify that all submitted information is precise and comprehensive, adhering strictly to guidelines, policies, and regulatory standards.
- Develop financial models and perform thorough analysis, structuring, and underwriting of loans.
- Manage the loan origination process from application through to closing, collaborating closely with Escrow, Title, and all involved parties.
- Track and report on loan delinquencies.
- Prepare compliance reports related to loans.
- Collect financial updates in a timely manner.
- Conduct site visits as necessary.
- Maintain relationships with both new and existing clients.
- Adhere to all Bank policies and regulatory requirements, completing all necessary training.
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Proficient understanding of credit analysis.
- Ability to manage multiple loan applications concurrently.
- Strong time management skills.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen attention to detail.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- A Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year institution.
- A minimum of three years of experience in SBA lending.
We provide a competitive total rewards package, which includes Medical, Dental, Vision, and Life Insurance, a 401k retirement savings plan, and paid federal holidays. The annual salary range for this full-time position is between $55,000 and $75,000, determined by qualifications, level, and location. Actual compensation may vary based on individual skills and experience.
