About the Role:
Back2 Health Physical Therapy Inc is seeking a highly skilled Medical Scribe to join our team. As a Medical Scribe, you will play a vital role in gathering and documenting patient information for their doctors' visits.
Key Responsibilities:
- Document Patient Encounters: Accurately and efficiently document patient encounters in electronic medical records (EMR).
- Collaborate with Healthcare Team: Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure consistent and comprehensive patient documentation and patient care delivery.
- Coordinate with Doctors: Coordinate with doctors to complete and submit medical records.
- Communicate with Patients and Healthcare Staff: Communicate professionally with patients, doctors, and healthcare staff.
- Administrative Tasks: Complete administrative tasks as requested while adhering to all regulatory guidelines and maintaining patient confidentiality at all times.
- Assist with Treatment Procedures: Assist healthcare providers with treatment procedures involving ultrasound and electrical stimulation.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in a health-related field (in progress or completed) or High school diploma/GED or equivalent.
- Experience: Previous experience as a Medical Scribe or in a similar position (recommended but not required).
- Skills: Ability to take detailed notes and accurate documentation, strong computer and transcription skills, ability to adhere to compliance regulations and strict confidentiality requirements, highly organized with excellent time-management skills, and ability to work well under pressure.
