Position Summary

Key Responsibilities
In the role of Legal Project Manager, you will enjoy the autonomy to shape your daily tasks while working with a dedicated team. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Evaluating the current knowledge management systems and practices, and developing a cohesive strategy that integrates established best practices with innovative technologies to enhance data management and accessibility.
  • Designing, documenting, and refining team processes and workflows, identifying technological solutions to improve efficiency, and collaborating with our legal operations team.
  • Supporting cross-departmental projects and engaging in collaborative project management efforts.
  • Conducting comprehensive research on legislative, regulatory, and factual matters, including consumer protection laws and industry standards.
  • Performing in-depth legal research and analysis to assist staff attorneys.
  • Locating legal precedents using various legal research tools and assessing their relevance to specific projects, along with preparing detailed summaries of findings.
  • Applying legal research outcomes to address specific issues and recommending actionable solutions.
Qualifications

Essential Experience

  • A minimum of 4 years of relevant experience.
  • Proficient in conducting legal research.
  • Skilled in managing project plans, resources, and personnel to ensure successful project execution in a legal context.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience with reporting and visualization tools such as Smartsheet, Tableau, and Visio.
  • Knowledge of Power Platform tools including Power BI, PowerApps, and Flow.
  • Experience using SharePoint.

Preferred Experience

  • A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Previous experience in documenting standard operating procedures and workflows.
  • Demonstrated ability in process improvement and recommending enhancements to drive operational efficiency.
  • Strong operational capabilities with a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Proficient in Adobe Acrobat and document management software.
  • Familiarity with TeamConnect and LexisNexis.
