Custodial Operations Supervisor
This is a Full-Time role that includes benefits. Candidates will undergo a Background Check, Drug Test, and Fingerprinting. The Custodial Operations Supervisor serves as a representative of our company values and philosophy, implementing and sustaining all essential programs to fulfill Corporate Mission and Goals.

Key Responsibilities:
Facilitates and coordinates all essential personnel and technical/operational processes to guarantee satisfaction for both internal and external customers. Responsible for organizing, scheduling, assigning, and executing daily work routines.

Acts as a team leader for safety within the assigned work area. Responsible for educating all employees on safety-related matters, discussing safety issues, and providing appropriate personal protective equipment. Investigates accidents, determines causes of injuries, and reports all concerns and incidents.

Training and Development:
Provides on-the-job training for new employees regarding every aspect of their roles, including equipment and chemical usage. Additionally, offers ongoing training through coaching methods for current staff.

Management of Resources:
Collaborates with the department management team to ensure a sufficient supply of products and chemicals is readily available for staff use. Communicates effectively regarding requests, work orders, and other job-related elements.

Emergency Coordination:
Coordinates and provides assistance during building emergencies (such as fire/flood clean-up, snow/ice removal, etc.) during and after working hours.

Supervisory Duties:
Must be capable of planning and executing major cleaning operations, supervising assigned work projects, and coordinating significant work initiatives with the manager or assistant manager while following up on supervisory responsibilities. Oversees custodial staff daily regarding the quantity and quality of their work.

Quality Assurance:
Conducts frequent inspections of all assigned areas to ensure that individual and building inspections meet service level quality standards, utilizing computer-aided inspection systems and other department-provided tools.

Staff Management:
Disciplines and counsels staff regarding disciplinary actions. Advises the office when verbal and written disciplinary actions have been issued. Jointly meets with employees and managers when issues warrant written warnings.

Additional Duties:
Performs other responsibilities as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:
College degree preferred but not mandatory.

Experience:
Minimum of 1-year supervisory experience in custodial operations.
Knowledge of custodial practices.
Computer literacy.
Basic mechanical knowledge.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Bilingual skills are preferred.
