Position Overview
This role entails the supervision and direction of various operational functions aimed at delivering comprehensive theater and enterprise network capabilities, services, and applications.

Key Responsibilities
1. Oversee troubleshooting and reporting of C4 IT systems and networks within the continental United States (CONUS).
2. Establish centralized configuration control for CONUS enterprise systems and networks.
3. Develop operational strategies and concepts for the global implementation of synchronized C4IM/IT and AIPT solutions, integrating operational base and expeditionary force requirements to support forces worldwide utilizing approved C4IM/IT programs and architectures.
4. Define processes for transitioning networks between institutional and operational sectors, translating engineering solutions and tactics into operational capabilities.
5. Formulate, implement, and ensure adherence to plans, policies, standards, infrastructures, and architectures pertaining to IT management and programs.
6. Direct various actions critical to the success of the Brigade's mission.
7. Develop and execute information requirements alongside the architecture, policies, plans, programs, and budgets to support them.
8. Interpret and disseminate information policy as established by the 7th Signal Command.
9. Manage approximately 200 personnel, leveraging subordinate supervisors throughout the Brigade.
10. Exercise authority to initiate, plan, direct, and execute support activities relevant to assigned missions.
11. Approve plans and schedules, ensuring accountability for the quality and timeliness of deliverables.

Conditions of Employment
Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination based on a completed background investigation. A three-year trial/probationary period may be required. This position requires travel throughout CONUS, sometimes on short notice, utilizing the fastest available transportation. The incumbent must obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance with eligibility for sensitive compartmented information (SCI). Compliance with the Alcohol and Drug Abuse Prevention and Control Program is mandatory, including passing a urinalysis screening prior to appointment and periodically thereafter. A one-year supervisory probationary period is required if not previously met.

Qualifications
Only applicants who meet specified employment authority categories are eligible to apply. Candidates must demonstrate relevant experience, including planning, managing, and directing Federal IT programs, as well as applying communication skills to present findings to leadership. Experience in cybersecurity, C4, and IT specialties is essential for leading discussions among inter-agency partners. The specialized experience must include competencies in attention to detail, customer service, oral communication, and problem-solving. No substitution of education for experience is permitted for this position.
