Position Summary:
Visa is on the lookout for a driven Project Manager to oversee the planning and execution of key internal and client-oriented strategic initiatives. Reporting directly to the Director of Project Management within Business Operations, this role calls for a seasoned Project Manager adept at navigating both strategic and tactical landscapes. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional verbal and written communication skills, a high level of energy, integrity, and a steadfast commitment to achieving results in a dynamic, team-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities:
The role necessitates collaboration across various functions and geographical regions at Visa, engaging closely with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure project quality aligns with business needs and corporate objectives.

Work Environment:
This is a hybrid role, allowing employees to alternate between remote work and office presence. Hybrid employees are expected to be in the office 2-3 designated days per week, based on departmental needs.

Qualifications:
Basic Requirements:

  • A minimum of 8 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's Degree, or 5 years with an Advanced Degree (e.g., Masters, MBA, JD, MD), or 2 years with a PhD.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 7 to 10 years of experience with a Bachelor's Degree, or 6 years with an Advanced Degree, or 3 years with a PhD.
  • At least 1 year of experience in Project Management or a similar capacity leading initiatives.
  • Comprehensive understanding of project management methodologies and best practices.
  • Experience within financial institutions or the payments sector.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills in both English and Spanish.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project).
  • Results-driven and self-motivated.
  • Creative and innovative thinker.
  • Team-oriented with a positive attitude towards client service and user experience.
  • Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent planning and organizational capabilities.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, capable of engaging with diverse audiences.

Additional Information:
Work Hours: Flexible based on departmental requirements.
Travel Requirements: Occasional travel (5-10%).
Mental/Physical Requirements: This role will be performed in an office setting, requiring the ability to sit and stand at a desk, communicate effectively, and operate standard office equipment.
