Role Summary:
The Senior Manager will oversee the management of the Visa Direct portfolio within the Latin America and Caribbean region (LAC). This role encompasses responsibilities such as managing the Product Roadmap, addressing local Product Enhancement requests, localizing products for the region, and communicating product information to clients. Additionally, the role involves conducting competitive analysis and developing sales materials to empower sales teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Product Management: Identify customer needs for new product development or enhancements, localize Visa Direct products for the LAC market, manage the Product Roadmap, ensure compliance with local regulations, and provide sales teams with necessary materials.
  • Competitive Analysis: Analyze the competitive landscape to inform strategic decisions regarding product features, positioning, and pricing.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with various teams, including global product development, solutioning, network, sales, marketing, finance, and operations, to ensure successful product launches.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Maintain regular communication with internal and external stakeholders to update them on Visa's money movement solutions and gather their feedback.

Qualifications:

  • Proactive individual with a strong ability to thrive in a fast-paced, agile environment.
  • Exceptional analytical and strategic thinking skills, along with organizational and interpersonal abilities. Experience in the banking and payments sector is essential.
  • Background in Product Management, preferably at a global or multi-market level.
  • Business acumen in the payments industry with 7 or more years of relevant experience, or 5 or more years with an Advanced Degree, or 2 or more years with a PhD.
  • Creative self-starter with a proven track record in developing, launching, and commercializing technology products that meet customer needs.
  • Experience in product, solutioning, and ecosystem enablement.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on client satisfaction.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively with senior client executives.
  • Fluency in English and Spanish is required.

Additional Information:
Work Hours: Varies based on departmental needs.
Travel Requirements: This position may require travel up to 10% of the time.
Mental/Physical Requirements: The role will be performed in an office environment, requiring the ability to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and via telephone, and operate standard office equipment.
