As a CT Technologist at Banner Imaging, you will collaborate with a dedicated team focused on delivering exceptional patient care in a supportive environment that fosters professional growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct CT scans adhering to ALARA principles.
  • Perform venipuncture and i-Stat tests.
  • Execute CT, CTA Coronary, and CTV examinations.
  • Verify the accuracy of orders.
  • Manage a patient load of approximately 26 individuals daily.
Location Options:
  • Banner Imaging East Mesa
  • Banner Imaging Gilbert
  • Banner Imaging Ocotillo
  • Banner Imaging Tempe
Work Schedule:
  • Full-time, 40 hours per week.
  • Four 10-hour shifts.
  • Typical hours: 6:30 AM - 5:00 PM, Monday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday.
Equipment: Siemens technology

Position Overview: This role involves performing prescribed imaging procedures in line with departmental policies and protocols, ensuring optimal care for patients. You will be responsible for:
  1. Following and confirming provider orders while utilizing independent judgment and established methodologies.
  2. Educating patients and their families about procedures and treatments.
  3. Producing high-quality images and preparing documentation for timely interpretation.
  4. Conducting quality control measures on equipment and maintaining a safe environment.
  5. Upholding ethical and professional standards in radiology practice.
  6. Ensuring efficient workflow and maintaining inventory for uninterrupted service.
Qualifications:
  • Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
  • National Certification from ARRT or NMTCB.
  • State Licensure for Arizona, including Radiography or Nuclear Medicine and CT license prior to hire.
  • Advanced Certification in Computed Tomography required within 18 months of hire.
  • BLS Certification is mandatory.
Experience: A minimum of two years of clinical experience is preferred, along with effective communication and problem-solving skills.
