About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Forensic Senior Manager to join our team at Plante Moran. As a key member of our management consulting team, you will be responsible for leading forensic accounting engagements, conducting fraud investigations and audits, and preparing and reviewing written reports.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage forensic accounting engagements, including planning, execution, and delivery of high-quality results
  • Conduct thorough and objective fraud investigations and audits, identifying and mitigating risks and weaknesses
  • Prepare and review written reports, including analysis and recommendations for clients
  • Evaluate internal control structures and data to identify potential risks and make recommendations for improvement
  • Analyze audit and accounting procedures to identify potential exposure to fraudulent financial reporting
  • Develop and implement effective financial statement analysis and recommendations
  • Summarize and analyze data to prepare clear and concise reports and findings
  • Interact with clients and other external sources to gather relevant information and documents
  • Help develop and manage staff, including training and mentoring
  • Engage in client expansion and cross-selling, with a focus on meaningful fees and lead generation
  • Review and lead proposals and engagement letter development
  • Build relationships with client decision-makers and third-party associates to facilitate referrals
  • Analyze budgets and time summaries for planning and billing purposes, and lead billing activities
  • Responsible for practice economics, including production, realization, billing, and collection
  • Anticipate and address client concerns, escalating problems as needed
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree required
  • CPA Designation required
  • Credentials of CFE, CFF, CIA, and/or CMA preferred but not required
  • 8+ years of recent experience in forensic consulting in a public accounting firm or technical consulting firm
  • Experience managing engagement teams and relevant skills in project execution, with hands-on experience in the full life cycle of a project
  • Business experience working with clients and managing multiple projects
  • Proficiency working with Alteryx, Tableau, or similar software preferred
  • Proven practice development sales experience
  • Ability to travel overnight or internationally may be required
  • Previous expert testimony experience preferred
