Forensic Services Manager Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Forensic Services Manager to lead our team of Licensed Professional Clinical Counselors (LPCCs), Licensed Independent Social Workers (LISWs), and Individual Marriage and Family Therapists (IMFTs). As a Forensic Services Manager, you will be responsible for supervising and leading our team to ensure high-quality services are provided to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and lead a team of TBS Specialists to ensure quality services are provided.
  • Oversee the direct provision of client services, including diagnostic assessments, individual and group counseling, and TBS services.
  • Track essential program data, supervise staff, and maintain communication with referral sources and other agencies within the community.
  • Responsible for the supervision of care management, utilization management, risk management, and quality management in accordance with agency policies and procedures and OMHAS and CARF criteria.
  • Complete assessments as needed and supervise and/or support staff activities such as conducting family meetings and attending to clients in crisis.
  • Monitor team productivity and coach staff to ensure individual and team productivity is met.
  • Monitor team's compliance with Quality Improvement standards and is responsible for QI data, contributing to improvements and reports, fidelity reviews, and other reports deemed necessary.
  • Respond to inquiries regarding services and assign cases and oversee caseload management to ensure balanced caseloads and utilization reports are monitored.
  • Supervise Quality and Utilization Management functions, including aspects of care, record review, and outcome indicators.
  • Maintain regular and predictable attendance and punctuality.
  • React to change and stress productively.
  • Get along with others and work as a team.
  • Conduct all performance evaluations on time.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Required: Master's or higher in Counseling Psychology or Related Field.

Required: Master's or higher in Social Work or Related Field.

Licenses & Certifications: LPCC or LISW.
