Job Summary

The PromptCare Companies is seeking a highly skilled Patient Care Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in coordinating patient care services and ensuring that patients receive the highest quality of care.

Responsibilities
  • Process inbound orders from referral sources and requests for assistance from patients through various mediums, including inbound and outbound calls, faxes, and emails.
  • Coordinate patient care services, including onboarding new patients, providing resupply orders, and reviewing patient records to ensure medical necessity is met.
  • Perform insurance and benefit verification, obtain prior authorizations, and complete other additional job duties as needed.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Spanish Bilingual is required.
  • Experience with insurance payers is preferred.
  • Experience with patient admissions in a similar referral source-based practice setting and customer service in an inbound/outbound customer service center is strongly preferred.
  • Customer service experience in a Home Medical Equipment company is strongly preferred.
  • Previous customer service experience in a healthcare services business is preferred.
  • Previous experience working with enteral therapy patients or pediatric enteral nutrition formulas is highly desirable.
